Silver Lamé Train (E224)

This incredible early 1900s wedding train is made from a silk silver lamé, with a design of bows, rows of roses and swags of leaves. It is framed in a wide ivory silk. A narrow band of silk is across the top where the train is gathered and there are two hooks to attach it to the shoulders.

There is a carrying loop on each side. It would look amazing on any antique silk gown. There are some tarnished spots that add to the character of the lamé, and the ivory silk edges have a few minor spots. No holes or mends and the fabric is strong and gorgeous.
