Five pounds of beads are not phasing this heave Belgian silk crepe fabric popular with the couture House of Adair in the 1920s. Many of this designers creations survived the years due to the background fabric choice. This black gown is covered in shades of pink and white bugle beads.
A hidden slit goes up one side. Missing beads add to the interest of the pattern.
