40s Purple Dress Suit

Late 1940s two-tone purple/blue dress jacket with beaded and embroidered decoration on the neckline and jacket collar. The dress has a rayon bodice and wool skirt that matches the wool blazer. The dress has both a back and side zipper, and a narrow cloth-covered belt. Still new with tags, but the jacket and belt have some moth holes, and there’s one on the dress skirt (shown).
The size says 18 1/2 – half sizes were “”styled for the Shorter Miss”” but this is a longer dress, certainly by today’s standards. My guess on the bust is up C cup.
