Peacock (G25)

Early 20th century Fortuny in a fabulous aqua silk satin. This is the classis Delphos: pleated two tiered dress with satin cord at neckline and Venetian glass beads. The silk feels like touching a cloud.

Some areas of repair. Some small holes when you examine in the pleats, particularly at the bottom hem. Notice the contrasting fabric (hidden) on the interior top; I’m not sure if that was original. Someone sat down it in along the way so you can see a slight poofiness at the rear.
