Classic 1930s pink bias-cut gown with a slight train. The gathered bustline is created with a high cut bodice topped with a braided neckline. The snaps close the side on a curve to blend into one of the back seams. It also features a deep keyhole back. More great seaming creates a full skirt. There’s aso a belt with a deco buckle (missing rhinestones). This dress fit my model Francine like a glove so I’m providing a measurement between the bust and the waist.
The fabric is sturdy, maybe nylon, and washable. The edge of the train hem is stained.
In original box from The J. L. Hudson Company, marked “Ethel’s Wedding.
